ICI served as the General Contractor for the construction of the Village of Westmont’s Fire Station Number 3. This building serves as the Village’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) with the lower level offices for the Emergency Services and Disaster Agency (ESDA) and the emergency communications center.
The main level includes administrative space for station command, paramedic services, communications and conferences.
The staff support area on the ground level includes a bunk room, a day room, a kitchen and dining area. The breakout gear and hose storage areas are accessible through a spacious 3-bay, drive-thru apparatus configuration.
The lower level houses an expansive training facility with instructional offices. The level leads to a landscaped patio setting, which is ramped from the ground level to provide for handicapped accessibility.
