ICI completed the construction of a new facility for Suburban Bank and Trust in New Lenox in 2009. The ground-up, 12,163 SF, building has a structural steel frame with a brick veneer and radius curtain wall.
The building is two stories, the first floor for Suburban Bank and a 2nd floor for tenant space. A partial basement will serve as storage space for bank records.
The facility includes a 3 lane drive-thru, 3 main offices, teller area, elevator and conference room. The conference room is contained within the radius curtain wall, making it one of the building’s most prominent features.
ICI’s team coordinated the installation of the owner supplied vault. Due to the precast concrete vault’s size and weight, our team had to lift each 3,000 pound piece into place using a crane.
Site work on the project included an underground retention storm trap to take in runoff storm water.
ICI established an aggressive schedule and was able to complete the facility one week earlier than the original completion date.
In the summer of 2010, ICI was contracted by Suburban Bank once again. This time, ICI was awarded the build-out of the 2nd Floor Tenant Space.
