ICI was given only 12 weeks to buildout this 110,000 SF office space in downtown Chicago.
A project of this magnitude would typically require a 20-week schedule, but by working with a fast-track initiative, ICI was able to condense construction and meet the time constraints Symphony/IRI had for moving out of their old location.
Designed by the architectural firm Valerio Dewalt Train Associates, the office called for an interesting marriage of conventional office space and highend industrial looks. The remodeled space made use of slanted walls, industrial framing ceiling grids, open ceiling hanging components and a special wall that was metal shingled from floor to ceiling. The design was meant to blend well and give a spacious and functional quality to the finished hightech office.
