Jake Aranki

Project Engineer

Upon graduating from Ferris State University in the spring of 2013 with a degree in Construction Management, Jake joined ICI as a Project Engineer. Jake has gained a significant amount of experience in a short time period while working with one of ICI’s most prominent clients, Benedictine University. Immediately upon joining the firm, Jake was assigned to the build-out of the University’s new Art Gallery and he played an important role in the successful completion of the space. He then went on to work alongside Superintendent, Brian Chadwick, on the construction of the University’s new 125,000 SF Hall of Business, completed in the fall of 2015.

As a Project Engineer, Jake works in conjunction with Project Superintendents and Project Managers in updating schedules, maintaining quality control, coordinating trade contractors and enforcing safety regulations. For project documentation, Jake collaborates with Project Administrators to coordinate submittals and provide cost and document control.

Jake is ardent Chicago Blackhawks fan. One of his favorite activities outside of work is watching his Hawks play on TV – and in person when he gets the chance!
